Life is so miserable
I've been reading through the net on difficulties to get a job now. The economic downturn has caused sudden retrenchment by most of the companies here which resulted in higher demand of jobseekers.
Imagine the current disaster: less job availability + more jobseeker.
Putting yourself among other jobseekers out there..
where do you stand?
Education?
To get at least a better job here, requires you to be a diploma holder. Nowadays, I believe everyone in Singapore is highly educated. Looking at the current changes for the next 5-10 coming years, im not sure if diploma holder can still be part of the priority. Everyone has to possess at least a degree just for a "good" job.
Experience?
If you have no experience, then less chances for you of getting the job. Especially in current situation, people who are out of jobs are those with many years experience. But no harm trying your luck.
Expected Salary?
Higher pay? Im sure everyone wants a good pay. If you think you are highly educated with experience and you are worth enough to receive such pay, yes you are right. But think again, if another person having the same education and experience asking for slightly lower pay than you. Of course, they will say goodbye to you. You should just ask for reasonable expected salary for the time being, i guess.
To summaries,
Don't be too fussy, if there's opportunity given. Just attend the interview and try your luck.
Customer Service Officer? Admin? Air-stewardess? Nurse? Teacher?
Finding a job is really tiring and exhausting. How I wish I don't have to go through all this. How I wish I can have a simple life without a needs to work. Can somebody please marry me so that I can be a housewife?? Dear..? *ahem2* Not now? (I tahu you baca tu pasal I nk kacau you) hehehe blueeeeeeeek!
Sitting at home for the past few days ALONE, cooking, doing nothing most of the times can be very boring too you know! I am getting bored too soon than I expect.
Please help me....................!!!
